Built for indie developers.

App Store Connect has the same numbers. It also has a login screen, a maze of menus and charts that take their time. Perch keeps just the numbers, one click from where you already are. For the kind of dev who checks more often than they'd like to admit.

Setup

Up and running in minutes.

Connect Perch to your App Store Connect account and you're set.

  1. 1

    Generate an API key

App Store Connect, Users and Access, Integrations. Create a key with Sales access. Apple gives you an Issuer ID, a Key ID, and a .p8 file.

  2. 2

    Paste into Perch

Open Perch settings. Drop in the identifiers and the .p8 file. Everything's stored in your Mac's Keychain.

  3. 3

    That's it.

Perch fetches your apps, sales, reviews, and status. The bird settles in your menu bar and gets to work.

Private by design

Nothing leaves your Mac.

Perch reads App Store Connect from your Mac directly. Sales, reviews, credentials all live on your machine.

No Perch server

Your API requests fly straight from your Mac to Apple. No middle layer, nothing to leak because there's nothing in between.

Credentials in Keychain

Your App Store Connect key lives in macOS Keychain, encrypted by the system. Perch never logs it, exports it, or sends it anywhere.

No analytics, no trackers

Perch doesn't watch what you tap or when you open it. The app behaves the same for everyone, with no telemetry phoning home.

FAQ

Worth knowing.

Why a menu bar app instead of a web dashboard?

Because you don't want another browser tab. Menu bar means one click, never lost, never refreshing, never asking you to log back in.

Does Perch upload my sales data?

No. Sales, reviews, credentials, all of it lives on your Mac. There's no Perch server to upload to. We can't see your data because it never leaves your machine.

Can I track multiple apps?

Yes. Every app in your App Store Connect account shows up automatically. Sort by downloads, revenue, refunds, trend, or release status, whichever matters today.

How much does Perch cost?

$4.99, one-time, from the Mac App Store. Pay once, keep it forever. Never a subscription.

One bird on a perch, watching the numbers.
